Ranges
All ranges of the current gauge will be displayed in this dropdown listbox.
Use the listbox to select the range that you want to change.
The syntax of the range names displayed in the listbox is as follows: <type of parent gauge element>-<name of parent gauge element>-Range-<name of range>.
A range is used to visually represent a set of values on a scale, and every range is associated with one scale. By default this scale is called "Default". For more information about ranges see the Ranges topic.
Start Value
Determines the starting value of the currently selected range. Measured as a value of the scale the range is associated with.
To use an expression click on the
icon and then set your expression. For more
information see the Report Expressions topic.
If an expression is used then a Gauge formula can be applied by clicking on the
icon and then selecting the desired formula. The results of this calculated formula will then be used as the range's start value.
End Value
Determines the end value of the currently selected range. Measured as a value of the scale the range is associated with.
To use an expression click on the
icon and then set your expression. For more
information see the Report Expressions topic.
If an expression is used then a Gauge formula can be applied by clicking on the
icon and then selecting the desired formula. The results of this calculated formula will then be used as the scale's maximum.
