New features

Chart 3.1 for Reporting services introduces these new features:

• Scorecard custom chart type
• PiePlus custom chart type
• Contour custom chart type
• Treemap custom chart type
• Timeline custom chart type
• Wafer custom chart type
• Tooltip support (Reporting Services 2008 only)

Issues fixed

Chart 3.1 for Reporting services fixes these issues:

• Chart should now work with SQL Server 2008 SP1 (Reporting Services 2008 only).
• "Jump to report" should now jump to the correct report in Reporting Services 2008.
• Multivalue parameters should now be passed in "jump to report" (RS 2008 only).
• Analysis services data sources can now be used with the chart (RS 2008 only).
• Series will now be grouped correctly when there are more than two column groupings (RS 2008 only).
• Fixed an issue where time series and forecasting did not work when adding another series (RS 2008 only).
• All custom chart type assemblies are now signed, which allows them to run when deployed to a server without changing any config files.
