Important Notice
Dear Dundas Customer/Evaluator,
We would like to inform you of some new developments at Dundas. As you are likely
aware, Microsoft Corporation acquired Dundas component technology in
2007. Since then, they have been integrating this technology into many of their
core development products, including SQL Server Reporting Services, the .NET
Framework, Visual Studio and more - validating Dundas as Microsoft's technology
of choice for data visualization.
Subsequent to the acquisition, Microsoft allowed Dundas to continue to sell,
enhance, update and support the components. As we mentioned in previous email
communications, the expiration date of this agreement was October 31st, 2010.
As such, we are no longer permitted to sell licenses or support contracts for Dundas
components.
The components involved include:
Dundas Chart — For .NET, SharePoint, SQL Reporting Services and OLAP
Dundas Gauge — For .NET, SharePoint and SQL Reporting Services
Dundas Map — For .NET and SQL Reporting Services
Dundas Calendar — For SQL Reporting Services
